About My Blog

Hi, my name is Danielle and for the longest time I wanted to create a blog as sort of a journal of my travels.  Something that I can refer to when giving recommendations on where to eat, drink and visit.  Since 2011 my boyfriend, Dave, and I have been on a mission to run a half marathon in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.  As of the start of this blog we have only 10 states left to run.  Imagine how much information I would have already had on this website/blog if I started from State #1!  I will be journaling our visits as well as recapping some of the past states that we have visited including the half marathons themselves.  To make this blog as authentic as possible I will only be using our own pictures, no downloads.  For example, the beautiful sunflower in the background of my page.  That picture comes from our backyard.  One of over 40 sunflowers that I planted and grew over this past summer (2020).
